Job Description
Looking for someone to work in a precast plant environment. Duties include assisting in setup process, housekeeping, operating hand tools. Work conditions for this position require heavy lifting (50 to 75 pounds), working indoors and/or outdoors and wearing protective equipment at all times. Successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team in an organized structure. He/she must be able to follow procedure, instructions, and work under indirect or direct supervision.
Equipment includes Hand tools, cutting torch, bridge cranes, forklift.
Pay Scale: Entry level of $10.00/hr with opportunity to advance to $11.00/hr by end of first year. Top end pay of $17.40/hr.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
*No industry experience is required, but construction related experience is preferred
*Required skills include manual dexterity, ability to read a tape measure, ability to advance into level of more responsibility
*Knowledge of hazard communications and ability to work safely and efficiently
*Must be team oriented
*Must have strong work ethic
Education, Certifications and/or Other Requirements
*High School diploma or GED equivalent
