Job Description

We are currently looking for a maintenance technician to perform preventative, predictive and emergency maintenance for all equipment throughout the plant operation. This person may also be required to perform rolling equipment maintenance at times. This position is fully supportive of all production aspects of the operation.
Successful candidate will have 5 years miminum experience as a maintenance technician in related equipment or 5 years on the job training in all aspects of the maintenance of this operation. Must have own tools, must be able to work with welding equipment, cutting torches, and various types of hand tools. Must be able to work independently or with a team as well as under direct supervision.
Pay Scale: Entry Level $15.85/hr
Top End $24.30/hr
Working conditions include indoors and outdoors in all seasonal conditions and some work in non permit confined spaces.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
*Must be proficient in hydraulics and pneumatics with some basic electrical knowledge
*Experience in the maintenance of conveyers, mixers, air compressors, and boilers preferred
*Must be able to read and interpret detailed drawings and schematics of equipment
*Must have experience in all types of welding and cutting of metals
*Must be licensed to operate a forklift
*Must be able to work at elevated heights and in non-permit required confined spaces
Education, Certifications and/or Other Requirements
*High School diploma or GED equivalent, or vocational school diploma required.
